Password-Protecting Double Password for Better Security

To prevent unauthorized access to the program, Double Password allows protecting its control window with password.

To password-protect Double Password:

1.Click on the Password tab.

2.Select the Enable password-protect checkbox at the bottom of the Password tab.

3.In the Set/Change password group, click on the Current password field and enter current password (if any.)

4.Click on the New password field and enter the new password. Then click on the Enter new password once more field and re-type the new password.

5.Click Apply to apply the new settings immediately or click OK to save the settings and close the main window.

You will be asked to enter this password every time you attempt to open the program’s control window, until you disable password protection (Not recommended).

Note: Tired of having to enter the password too many times? Select the Do not require password when USB flash disk is connected checkbox, and the program will no longer ask you for the password while your USB flash disk with the secure token is connected to the computer.
